ICT Customer Support Officer

Job Description: Point of Rental Australia is looking for individuals who have hands-on knowledge of the rental process and at least 2 years of direct use of Point-of-Rental Software. This position is responsible for training new system users and supporting existing users of Point of Rental® Software. Rental experience is a must. Training is performed at our offices, online and at client sites resulting in up to 50% travel.

Qualifications: Good understanding of equipment and/or party rental operations including counter operations and accounting. A minimum of two years using Point of Rental® Software. Strong computer skills are required. Candidates must consider themselves to be an above average customer service provider and genuinely have the desire to help people.

Duties: Providing support and overseeing guidance to the company’s customers including specialised and technical advice geared towards Point-of-Rental’s software products; ensuring ongoing support and services are available in a user friendly way (including providing routine guidance and education with regards to software maintenance and support); overseeing diagnosis and resolution of technical issues and reporting the issues to the company for improvements; overseeing installation and maintenance of current software for new and existing customers as per their requirements.

ICT Account Manager

Job Description: Point of Rental Australia is looking for individuals who have hands-on knowledge of the rental process and both sales and IT experience. This position is responsible for selling Point -of-Rental Software’s products and managing clients and product delivery. 

Qualifications: Good understanding of equipment and/or party rental operations including counter operations and accounting. A minimum of two years using Point of Rental® Software. Strong computer skills are required. Sales skills are a must and sales experience is a plus. Candidates must consider themselves to be an above average customer service provider and genuinely have the desire to help people.

Duties: Management of sales of Point-of-Rental’s products. Management of delivery of Point-of-Rental’s products and services to new and existing clients. Management and identification of market demand and status with regards to Point-of-Rental’s products and services. Providing reports with regards to sales and market demand with regards to Point-of-Rental’s products. Management of Point-of-Rental’s account clients.  Responsible for the management of customer feedback; including review of the customer retention, feedback with regards to products; and areas for improvement in sales and delivery Point-of-Rental’s products. Responsible for the sales of Point-of-Rental’s products and services. Responsible for market data research and report to the head office. Responsible for maintenance of existing customer satisfaction and report of issues or complaints for future improvements. Responsible for assessment of market and customer research to meet customer’s needs. Responsible for market demand research for Point-of-Rental’s products and services. Responsible for the promotion of Point-of-Rental’s products and services to current and prospective clients. Responsible for the sales negotiations and liaising with customers with regards to product and service delivery. Responsible for the customer feedback and review of the Point-of-Rental’s delivery of goods and services. Providing regular reports and updates to the sales team where appropriate; reporting and updating the technical team; reporting and responsible for maintaining sales databases. Responsible for regular maintenance of current customers; responsible for liaising between the sales and the technical teams to ensure smooth product and service delivery. Responsible for maintenance and submission of products and services sales.
